I figure with all the different clans around here there has to be a bunch of people with some experience.

Please say why you like the specific software.

Personally I like DirectAdmin because of the simple design, and it allows the domain owner to set custom dns records, rather than that feature being limited to resellers or host admins.
The built-in support ticket system is also good so you aren't forced to be registered on multiple things, integration is valued.
