I just got renguard, and it said i have skins and can't join pure servers. What is a pure server? IF i can't use skins im gonna be pissed.

n00bstories servers do not use Pure mode. I would consider it on my pro sniper server but that's it.

Is it possible to make Renguard to somehow "disable" the skins so that you don't have to remove them in order to be able to enter the pure server?

I asked mac if this were to be a possible option. He said it would most likely be added in a later update.

No. Pure mode is intended for tournaments, clan games... it is intended to put everyone on an absolutely even playing field with no modifications to the game visually.
We plan to later allow server owners greater flexibility in the future and have more choices as to what RenGuard will allow on their servers.

What about a custom pure mode, like where the owner can choose no sniper scope mods, sbh skins or coloured c4s...

Right. That's what we hope to change in the SSC. We'd like you to be able to refine exactly what you want players to have/not have in your server.

If you can connect to RenGuard and only get the "pure mode" warning, then you won't have trouble playing on n00bstories servers.
