i know this should be in another section but there isnt one for CP1 anymore so i decided to put it here.
everytime i try to install the CP1 i get this error message in command prompt.
language ID = 0
English Detected
Removing old always.dbs
Removing new german always.dbs
Removing new french always.dbs
Removing new english always.dbs
Now remaning scriptsx.dll to scripts.dll
error 17
i was only able to get CP1 to correctly download one time. after that it never worked agin. anyone know whats going on? and how can i fix it?

i tryed the search function and found nothing that would help me out.
after the first time i downloaded the CP1 when i would use a radio command i would get little things that would pop up over my or others head. since having to reinstall renegade (many times) i havent been able to get those back. and since then i have been getting this error message. if there is any other info tha would be uselful i would be glad to get it.

You need to download the latest scripts. Ripintou posted them recently in both these forums and n00bstories.com, search for "scripts" in the title.
