i use third all the time...its good for wen u r up against a sniper...i find it easier to jink out of the way....the only time i use 1st person is to get a good shot of the HON in islands wit a gunner.

It is not about liking or disliking a view. It doesn't matter what looks better or more 'realistic'.
With the 1st person view you have a MUCH better accuracy, duckman is right. Even if you are used to 3rd p.v. you can't aim as accurate as you do in 1st p.v.

third is a heap more accurate, especially when moving around. 1st is only good if ur a tool, camping in the same spot, without moving...
in whish case go right ahead as i put a bullet down ur throat.
all good snipers use 3rd

I disagree that first person is more accurate. I find third more accurate. when there are lots of people running around, and lots of targets, and you want to concentrate on one, it gets hard to tell when your target has switched in 1st person view, but in third person, you get a different perspective and can keep an eye on your target of choice better. My play accuracy and game play improved when I went to third person view.

i wed get a WOL server in aus ![[Frown]](frown.gif)
i used to be 20th in the world, but cant get ranked anymore...
one of the servers i play in WOL started keeping track of stats... turns out my average K/D is 8, first in the server, im first in ills in the server, yet ive played 1/5 of the games second place guy has

3rd person when you want to see around corners to see what is coming down tunnels and halls.... 1st person when you want to aim and shoot people... or are running away while jumping and strafting...1st person enables you to aim better as well as place c4 on mct's.... as well as enable you to judge where when and how and enemy will fire upon you... allowing a greater amount of ease while trying to escape or make an attack.... 3rd person is best when you are trying to rush a base on small to medium sized maps when you are trying to avoid being seen by enemy units... this can also help you to ambush enemies when they come running down the halls or are turning around making sure nobody is following them in a tunnel... 3rd person can also allow you a slight advantage if you are sniping and are worrying if there is a stealth behind you planting c4 on your back.... you have only a slight advantage but when a stealth is trying to put c4 on you... they usually like to take their time.... and get as close as possible... moving out from snipe mode and into 3rd person can allow you a quick check to see if there is nobody behind you due to the light refaction you see when you get close to stealth unites ie. like heat waves, for those of you who are new to this... 3rd person in tanks is a given however I'd like to mention that mounting the camera on the turret rather than the chasis is the best way to drive your tanks/vehicles.... as this will allow a 360 degree sight radius and can allow you to get squishs while still enabling you to shoot at vehicles or tanks or other units..
