I get this message whenever trying to start my Renegade via RenDirectConnect or via the TT Renegade executable.

index.php?t=getfile&id=14824&private=0

Nothing has changed on my side on firewall or internet connections that I know of. I can check however if you would like.

I can still play online if I click "yes" but it takes almost two minutes for this message to come up.

Since I have updated the Scipts from "4.0patch1" to "4.1RC2", I get this issue or error too. I "continue anyway" and I am able to play online. It just seems that some gameservers are not recognizing me anymore as well.

Those probs started with 4.1RC2

Yeah, the updater was recently disabled to avoid some installation issues with 4.1 RC2. 4.1 RC3 was released moments ago, so you should no longer get this message. Smile
