i can't personally beat a 7 ft. monitor, but the people that live in the top floor of my dorm can, and they do it on a regular basis (i.e. at least once a month, except during the winter).

they hook a pc or a nintendo up to a projector, go out onto the fire escape, and play video games on the outside wall of the adjacent building. so they're using a screen that's probably at least 50 ft. Very Happy

(they also do that sometimes to watch porn)

oh, and of course, they hook it up to a massive sound system too so you can watch and listen from a couple hundred feet away.

(gotta love MIT people....)

Ya it is awesome what you can do with these. Once school ends I plan on having movie nights. Hooking up in our front yard and projecting it onto our garage. And anyone that wants to come watch can.
