		The web setup should resume the download if your connection drops during the install. Anyway, there is not a distribution edition of IE6 for download, you have to order a CD to get it. 
 
However with a command line parameter, you can get it to dump the files to you hard drive. You didn't specify if you have a broadband connection, if you do I can post the process of downloading it to your hard drive here. Anyway I included a download link below. 
 
The version I have below is for windows XP/2000 only, if you need the full 25Mb one which includes Win 9x/ME and Windows NT, just ask. Likewise if you need just Win 9x/ME or Windows NT on their own I can download the individual versions.
