Its not an expansion, it just recycles a lot of assets, however I enjoy it a lot more than Fallout 3, but yeah the engine could use some serious updating now...
IE, bad animation systems and havoc engine still feels broken, although I have yet to get killed by books randomly flying off of shelves, but I can tell thats coming.

I love enemies clipping below the ground, always makes me laugh.

played it for 35 hours, bored now. so yeah, its pretty good i think.
