i've just reinstalled the renegade tools into a folder where vistas security isn't like it is in the program files folder (in other words where you don't have to confirm twice everytime you want to do anything) aand..

Holy shit. It worked XD

I'd never guessed that it would be something this simple.. i was certain i had to have done something wrong.. well i guess not Razz

Thanks a lot for the help and suggestions. XD
