If you find the problem is your card can't support 1680x1050@60hz on the DVI output you could maybe swap the monitors over and use a DVI->VGA adapter for the VGA screen so you can plug it into the DVI port (assuming it's a lower resolution) and plug the T220 into the VGA port.
