What I meant by Beta testers is that C&C3 didn't have a beta, it had a community summit and they chose a select few people who they thought were "pros" and let them answer all the big choices in the game. But as it turns out they were also people who enjoyed Generals and still played it. It is their fault that the radar in C&C3 is on the MCV and not the Command Post.

it's also their "fault" that the game is more balanced than every single westwood C&C... sure it's not perfect, but it's gold compared to, for example, RA2 or C&C95

Section 1:

Guess what? READ and the answer shall show itself to you.

read what? highlight the post you're trying to draw attention to...

This is opinion...I would say it slower but you just wouldn't read it again.

will you please stop lying? When did I not read your posts? I've already asked you to clarify this point; you've made it pretty clear that you couldn't because it was garbage to begin with.

"failure to refute the rest of my arguments"

we've already established that not only are you dead wrong here, you're also a chronic hypocrite, so I'm not sure why you keep repeating this nonsense... you're starting to remind me of the rhino in 300 that gets killed by Leonidas' thrown spear... it's been well and truly pwned but it rampages on for a while blissfully unaware of how dead it is. It'll sink in eventually

Even still, "stealing games < making games you don't like" is just your twist on it. I could do that same:

Rising up against a company that makes shitty products and wants to take over the whole industry > Making a shitty product and trying to take over the entire industry.

Wow, same actions but a different spin...amazing how that works.

it works as well as the rest of your "arguments"; in other words it's a complete failure.

let's examine this:
"stealing games < making games you don't like"
here goes.

the gripe against EA is "making games you don't like". well, we live in a free capitalist society (I know that probably pisses you off no end, but unfortunately for you, you're stuck with it) which means that if a company makes products you think suck, here's what you can do:

JUST DON'T BUY THEM ANYMORE

This is not only completely legal, and more to the point it actually MAKES SENSE (which probably explains why it hasn't occurred to you) and it's also to the detriment of the company. If you were right about EA, everyone would do the same... and EA would suffer financially. Then they'd have to rethink. This is the miracle of the market... then you get selfish, self-righteous, ignorant, hypocritical pricks like you who think you're above these pesky laws (and principles).

EA isn't doing anything morally or legally wrong. You are. EA > you. I guarantee more people like EA games than have ever even met you, let alone like you. What's your excuse for that, I wonder? Thumbs Up

your choice of words "rising up against" confirms a suspicion that has been growing in my mind... do you happen to be wearing a Che Guevara shirt?

Buying EA's games for years and deciding to do something about the lack of quality > Buying whatever pile of crap they put out without question.

the difference between me and you is I actually AM doing something about the quality. You've just convinced yourself you are so you can feel better about stealing the games you're probably too poor to buy.

Lifelong franchise flushed to hell by a company < People doing something about it.

who the FUCK are you to say whether the franchise has been "flushed to hell"? this is never gonna be anything other than opinion... but judging by the fact you think "stealing games < making products you don't like" is an opinion rather than a fact, I'm not entirely convinced you understand the word's meaning. Maybe you should steal a dictionary.

Company that won't modernize and doesn't listen to the fan base < anything on the face of the earth.

1. we've already established that EA want to sell lots of their games, so they do listen to the fan base. You're just suffering from RCS - the "my opinion means more than everybody else's" one.
2. you're a perfect example of why they probably shouldn't listen to this community anyway. Look at yourself - you openly admit to stealing EA games, trying to attack the company etc... with pricks like you about, it's no wonder Renegade isn't better supported. If I worked for EA and checked this forum, and saw geeks like you stealing from the company I worked for, I'd just tell you to go fuck yourself... either that or pursue legal action.
