If you mean #1 by you press record and you can't play the game then yeah i'd have to agree. I just installed the 30 trial to see what it was like. Used the default settings loaded Renegade hit F9 to record and it popped up saying its started recording (Already im annoyed) but then I couldn't actually get back ingame, I press on the Renegade tab and I can hear myself walking but I couldn't see anything except my desktop.. So I wouldn't recommend this if you want to actually record Renegade.

Run renegade in windowed mode.

EDIT: and it shouldn't pop up anything. Once the recorder is in they tray, it stays in the tray.

So its only good if you run games in windowed mode... I was ingame I pressed F9 and a bollon came up saying its recording which minimized my game and wouldn't let me back in.
