I know GCC 3.2.3 20030502 (Red Hat Linux 3.2.3-47.3) works and GCC 3.4.4 20050721 (Red Hat 3.4.4-2) does not.
I have no idea if GCC 3.3.x will work, it depends on whats changed between 3.2.x and 3.3.x
