i have just recently bought the ten years edition of command and conquer. it has all the command and conquer titles and is really cool. or so i thought.

one thing i noticed is that whenever i play renegade online it comes with a no cd patch already installed. so single player and multi-player is so much more convinient. this is great! no need to scratch those cd's anymore.

i have renguard, all the core patches. everything is great right? Wrong. i like to play in wol and unrules.com servers. in these servers while playing with m copy of the 10 years edition i am suspected of cheating and am kicked. when i am clearly not cheating.
i have another original copy of renegade that i have installed on my comp with the same files and the same core updates but i have to use the cd. when connectiong to the favorite servers listed above. i can connect just fine.

my question is why does renguard think i am cheating when i am using my brand new edition of ten years edition. and will there be an update to renguard so that i may be able to use my new copy of renegade?
