I called ATI on the phone they said they never heard of the developer registered program and a 40% discount, they said they ship cards out to most developers for free :rolleyes:

You're really going to some lengths to try to prove me wrong, aren't you?

Large developers get cards for free. Us small startups have to make do with a discount.

Thats the retail x800 pro VIVO from sapphire,
Thier are retail models availible for gigabyte, power color, club3d and more.

btw the gigabyte x800 pro vivo ships with 16 pipes unlocked running at xt speeds. Looks like the manufacturer "pre-hacked" it for you :rolleyes:

I don't get a discount on 3rd-party hardware.
