How to counter Techs in APC rush? [message #-979932]

I can't stand it. A few guys and me find it hard to defend a base. Especially City. The AGT is useless. Me and a few hotwires place C4's around, inside & near, those 'hot' buildings but no, they get destroyed by an APC full of techs.

Tell me, how do I counter em? Some servers doesn't have any starting credits so it's impossible to have a vehicle blockade.
