When I start renguard it just hangs doesn't do anything.
any help Please
My firewall allows it, i have tried restarting the computer but a blank screen when renguard starts

Um, either your always.dbs is corrupt, or you have a modified renegade installation. Try reinstalling renegade - and get that file fixed. If it stops saying that, you're okay. Or just try to reconnect.

Yeah, I had that happen, I just reset RenGuard a few times and that fixed it. Also, my always.dbs file got corrupt, something with my firewall and Renegade + RenGuard made my computer freeze several times, I think I figured out a way around the problem. *turns firewall on allow all* There, all better, if there's another way around it, I'd be greatful to know Very Happy
I'm using McAfee 7.1 Pro with McAfee Guardian, it only froze when the firewall was filtering all traffic and I went to enter a server. Sad

It will also stall when you try to log on WHILE Renguard is being updated. It won't be often that this happens, as the updates are done fairly fast, but I had this experience myself as well.

It's not a new problem, your game isn't destructed, I believe people have already given an answer to that problem, check other places in this forum, I'm sure you'll find the answer to your problem somewhere. Very Happy
Also, can someone please answer my question I asked involving my firewall problems yesterday that warranto posted after and it never really got answered? :rolleyes:

Hi. On the day I got this, it worked first time. but when my bro tried it for a second time, he click on renegade and it said,
"Renguard is loaded. Unload it and try again." But how do I do this?

If you cant figure out how to do this, just restart the pc.

Renguard runs in your system tray here:
