Well i was gamespy lobby (renegade-guardtower) and it seems everyone its out testing the cheats. Seems that there's a way to make the cheats work (final renegade, bighead). [gse]mrpirate and [era]griffen did it themselves just for testing and they found a way around it.

Hope they get in touch witch crimsom or any of the renguard team to try and patch w/e is fuked. Meanwhile i'm still happy that its at least now HARDER for noobs to cheat.

Good luck getting everything right.

ps Dont waste your time "certifying" all these w3d skins that are "valid" or w/e just concentrate on blocking the real strong cheats. I could live without using any w3d files so as long as cheats dont work.

No, I didn't find a way past it. I was just asking ERA to show that they could, and joined the game TwIsTa talked about in his post... They bypassed RenGuard, that's for sure.

Well my mistake on pointing who tried it. Thats how i read it. We all know you guys dont cheat. The whole point of the message is to let them know that trusted people have seen renguard fail.

Yeah, I had to reinstall everything it blocks all w3d files, I had to remove my reborn pistol models, they were extracted from Reborn and I imported them to Renegade.

That's even more interesting. I've never seen an ERA cheat, only be newbies and repair nod when they're gdi.


Some othe [ERA-T] guys have been busted for cheating. Albiet they were traines, cheaters can be affliated with clans.

Ok first off im griffen 2nd we were testing renguard to see if was worth hosting 3rd all i did was install the damage hack and bighead after 2 maps instead of 1 i didnt hack renguard 4th i told mac the same day so he could fix it which he did in like 5 mins 5th scope i believe u were the one acting n00b that game the whole server was playing inf only except one guy on nod so we all decided to let gdi kill air so he couldnt buy anymore tanks hence all of nod but u and him were repairing gdi to make killing air more easy. U were the only one in that game who couldnt manage to get their peabrained mind around that. 6th wat [ERA-T] used cheats gimme names screens proof and who accused them of cheating and the logs crimson had were from when we were testing to see if renguard worked i know im posting little late just never thought it was that big of a deal. i mean i didnt tell anyone but mac what i did and i told him the same day would of told him early in day if had way to contact him. for those who didnt realize scope and boomer are the same n00b

one thing i dont understand.. not many server use renguard as it is.. why waste time cracking it.. just to play on the few servers that use it when there are plenty of other servers to go cheat on with ease.. idiots :rolleyes:

IF cheaters manage to get on to a RG server, the kick or ban option is still available.

And this is an old topic....posted nearer the earlier versions where it was possible to bypass RG using cheats.

This thread is funny. Grif does not cheat. I have played with Grif since demo days began. His game has only gotten better with time, as all of us. Not cheats.

Veg, i brought up the same thing, not many servers using it.

Sorry for reviving an old topic, but i played a 2v2 clanwar against ERA and [ERA]Thima had a damage hack assigned to the alt-fire button, he admitted to using it and said "sorry ill go turn it off now". Apparently he uses it "to own cheaters" that come into game, lame huh. I also got a screeny, but il only post it if anyone gives a crap, as i revived an old topic.

Was the server protected by RenGuard?, if so you might have made a new topic about it since this is important.

Or is this just a new cheat, wich sounds very hard to prove by moderators?

I don't know if you were replying to me Crimson, but the post about the latest cheat wich revived this topic was posted on 17 may. Could be that you didn't read that line. Or it could be that your right and that you recognized the cheat, or are sure it's not possible to cheat anymore.

I just want to be sure, no error are overlooked, but I guess I shouldn't worry so much.

That cheating didn't take place in a RenGuard protected server. It's just an objects.ddb hack that we already stop.
