From what I can tell, starcraft is almost same thing as Warcraft 2. And warcraft 2 wasn't so bad, but it was kind of... bad. Way too large squares for all units(using so large squares for units in RTS game is stupid(who ever designed so large squares must have been short sighted or mentally damaged)), Ability to slect only 8 units, and so on.... Ra2 is much better, but starcraft probably has much better story.
