I very much doubt you have a 100Mbit connection to the Internet, you're thinking of LAN speed.

Go to Broadband Reports SpeedTest to test your real speed.

	| 3.5 TB connection is some capacity. Thats a maximum transfer rate of around 437.5 Megabytes a second. It would be on a dark optical fibre connection to get that sort of speed.

LOL thats waht everyone says when i tell them about it but i not lien it says it lol i know what im doing to so im not looking at wrong thing when i get on that comp ill post screen of it.

If it's a work-based connection then that's understandable. But I've never heard of anyone having a 100Mbit Internet connection to their home, unless of course, they're fucking rich.

Never said you were lying, but believe me, it seems a lot of people mistake network speeds as Internet speeds.

No, notice the capital 'B'... I said 3.5 Terabytes, as in 3.5 trillion bytes a second.

Even if I was talking about Terabits, it would be 437.5 Gigabytes a second, not Megabytes (3,500,000,000,000 / 8 = 437,500,000,000).

	| Bah! I missed a few 000's off in my calculation. You should always measure bandwidth in bits not bytes, it avaoids a lot of confusion.
So what id 3.5 Terabytes in bits?

But that's not what the topic of this thread is, it's "what do you download at...", and you don't measure your download speed in bits.

Just multiply 3,500,000,000,000 by 8 and you have the number of bits.

 (3,500,000,000,000 * 8 = 28,000,000,000,000)

Here is what i do in the mean time to let u know i go to start/control panal/network connections(i think) and click on the connection propertys and it has it.

Exactly, you've confused it with Network speed.

I have 100Mbit speed too under network connections, that's your LAN speed.

	| I did clearly say you measure bandwidth in bits and not download speed. I know how you calcuate from bits to bytes just 3.5 Terabit connection seemed a bit high so I thought it was in bits.
