I posted this in the original forums and it got a lot of response. I'd like to post it again and see if it makes a difference. I know that there is an online petition out there reguarding Renegade 2 but I want this to be part of the official forums. This will probably generate a lot of responses like "Renegade is dead you n00b...STFU!" and "WS is now closed, this is never going to happen." But you never know. EA could recognize the sizable following of this game and see that maybe there are a lot of people interested in shelling out cash for an advancement of this game. Yes, I know that Renegade 2 was officially cancelled, but who knows, companies can change their minds if there is enough incentive. So, as dedicated members of this great game and these forums, take the time to say Yay or Nay to if you would pay MONEY for a Renegade Expansion. And please, keep the flames to a minimum, this is a serious topic.

It wont be made by westwood though. Look at the mess that befell Unreal2. Wasnt made by origional team, and it fell WAY WAY WAY short of the mark.

Fan Maps must be free. If you read the EULA [end users license agreement] you CANNOT charge anything for maps otherwise you will be banned forever from EA online. It all has to do with copyright infringement and all that other legal crap. If you dont believe me go back and read it yourself.
