Has anyone ever got Renegade running on their smartphone, one running Windows like the Nokia Lumia.

Is it possible?

Directly on the WP device no, they just aren't the same and it won't happen, but you could use some Remote Desktop software like Splashtop to remote into a PC and play Renegade that way. Course you would need to find a bluetooth mouse and keyboard to connect to your phone to play it well enough or an OTG adapter to plug in a USB mouse and keyboard.
