Yes, saving a file with 4.2 LE renders that file incompatible with 4.1/4.0 due to a glitch in the save file code. But in terms of pure netcode, there is no reason why a map saved with 4.1 wont work fine when used with any combination of 4.0/4.1/4.2 on client and server.

Yeah 4.1 will work fine, my point is that a 4.2 save makes everyone move up to 4.2.
