Hello, well I just wanted to let the renegade community know of the new community launch, EliteFrenzy. With the Closing of st0rm(basically) a few friends and myself thought we would need more places to play aha, With that being said I would like to announce the Opening of EliTeFrenZy [AoW] Server.
The server hostname is elite and the name is EliteFrenzy [AoW]
the website so far is www.elitefrenzy.tk
The IRC is irc.finezt.com and then #Renegade for server
We are looking for more moderators and Active players.

the effort to create a new server is wasted as everyones said though....it just dillutes the player base even more..
and how does it help displaced storm members....its just a normal aow server (running NR lolsies)...theres other, better run servers that already have a decent player base....so why not join them and actually benefit renegade
so dont see why either of those points are valid..
dont wanna be bashing on a new server...but srsly why do it :s

The fact is, not a ton of people are going to play, but who cares. Wow they take away 5 players from the nearly full jelly server, is it that big of a deal?
Didn't think so.
Now maybe if 20 new servers popped up spreading out players THAT's different. But we all know that isn't going to happen.
Not pro enough at renegade to snipe.

Why not? Even another empty server on the list gives the appearance the game has life.

I agree with that actually, it wasn't until 2142 only had 200 empty servers left (and 50 populated) that it really started to feel like it was in decline.
