I would second that nomination for Xv. Different years there were different star snipers but the sniping scene of those days is long dead.
His names reminds me of a few sniper servers that helped build the vibrant sniping community within Renegade of that era. Some that come to mind are: crimson79, fnfall sniping servers, madcow. Snipers servers of today are modded ridiculously but that is another topic.

Agreed, no reload killed them, tbh. Granted it is fun, it's not the oldschool sniping.
Everytime someone tries to go back to those days of reload sniping, people never play in the server because they've become so accustomed to that no reload bs.

Hey Fobby, I'm still around. Haven't played much though, every time I load it up there's like 4 people playing. Plus I'm not that big of a fan of marathon games. I miss the old days of Renegade. GSA lobby wars were awesome.

By the way, c4kitty was the most annoying person I've ever played Renegade with. If you lost your tank in the field, and tried to give her techy support, you'd get a bunch of offensive PMs telling you to "fuck off", and "I don't need your help". Then she'd drive away from you so you couldn't repair her tank.

Anyone know a way of retrieving old nicknames a person used? I've had retarded nicknames when Renegade was just released (~2003-2004). Stuff like Stealthcat and StealthYuri if I recall correctly. It's on a serial that's been lost.
And shocked that msgtpain is cheater? He often had retarded headshots but at least he was one of the cheaters that could hide it well. Believe he even was a mod at Jelly for a while.
