Holy shit. You guys are a bunch of idiots.

First of all, jumpstyle is not hardstyle. Actually jumpstyle is the commercial part of jump. Jump=good. Jumpstyle=bad. Both=/=hardstyle.

Second, Pavo=hardstyle, darkraver=early rave, noisecontrollers=nu-style.

Thirdly= 90% of the tracks mentioned in this topic are nu-style.

Hardstyle= older SAIFAM tracks, Technoboy - war machine, Speedwave - Zanghar I could go on and on here. Also, donkey rollers, most Zany tracks, Zatox, Activator, Alpha2, AVIO, Theracords. Well most tracks from before 2007 are hardstyle. After that all Scantraxx, most Fusion and a shitload of other labels went nu-style.

For anyone who is confused as to the difference between hardstyle and nu-style. Hardstyle has short breaks, pounding kicks with often reversed base (especially in the intro), simple melodies, awesome screeches and a general dark atmosphere. Nu-style has long-ass breaks with pop-singing and other gay shit, hollow metallic kicks, chaning notes in the kick, queer happy and complex melodies that go on for ages and an overall feeling of being in an amusement park.

As 'main' genres I would say:
House
Techno
Hardstyle
Hardcore
Electro
Happy Hardcore
Minimal

All of which are obviously different, if you listen to them.

  |

You can group them all into one category: SHIT
  |

Which you can also do to metal if you do not like the type of music. It all depends on taste. Now stop being an ignorant retard.
