		Im tryign to reformat my hardrive(dont ask   ) my xp cd isnt bootable so i cant do it from a setup are ther eany other methods of doing this?

		i had 2 do this cu of virus i had these umm 
like setup disk thingys or baclup shit 
it restores the pc 2 its origonal factory state. like wen u 1st bought it it restores it 2 factory setting s and has all the origonal prgz

		Control Panel make sure its an catagory view click "perfomance and matinense" then on the top left corner look for "see also" and below it it says "system restore"

		You need to change your bios to boot from CD and not IDE0 or FDD or whatever it is set to as first (or primary) boot device. This is normally found under the advanced boot options in you bios if it is an Award bios. Normally you press "Delete" to enter the bios or if you have a different bios it might be F2 (Epox Motherboards use Phoenix bios on some models so you need to press F2)
