1)who here knows how to speak more then one language?
2)if so what are they?
3)and how did you learn them?

I can speak 3 languages. English, Russian and Turkish.
Russian - At school when i was in russia.
Turkish - Parents taught me.
English - English schools.

I learned Bulgarian in Bulgaria and I've kept it up since I speak it with my parents. I learned English when I moved here to America

English <- Supposed to be our first language but isn't my mother tongue (learnt in school)
Chinese <- Mother tongue

Both used interchangeably.

Dutch - mother tongue
French - at school, but made it perfect by dating and later marrying a French speaking girl
English - learned at school, but made it much better thanks to communicating on the Internet
German - learned at school, was quite good at it actually but lost most of it now as I never use it anymore Sad

Luxembourgish - I understand it partially, but cant really speak it. Learned it through my parents in law

Languages are a real strength in everything you do, except when you're a native English speaking: then you just need to make your English perfect Very Happy

Dutch - native language.
English - school + gaming.
German - school, certainly not great at it.
French - school, tiny little bit of knowledge of it.

Dutch - native lang.
English - School, interwebs
German - School
French - School (meh XD)
Japanese - But only the rōmaji form (alphabetic), as there are well over 10.000 symbols in the japanese language Razz

Learned mostly trough lessons found online and a bit trough Anime series.

- Frisian -> Born in Friesland + School. I don't really speak it, but I can mostly understand it.

Spanish - school, but haven't used it, so I can't remember much from two years. It wasn't that strong anyway.
Japanese - Just started learning using Rosetta Stone (which seems to be a great program, by the way)
