So, I downloaded opera a while back. I love it and haven't used IE7 since except on our out-of-touch-with-awesomeness school computers. I haven't had any problems with it at all.

However, this Christmas, I downloaded Opera onto my grandmother's computer because she couldn't listen to something on the internet using IE7. With her consent, I downloaded and installed it and everyone that used it thought that it was better than what I replaced. Within a couple weeks of installation, she noticed something screwy going on with her files and had to uninstall it. She was really pissed about it.

My question, is there a problem with Opera that allows worms or things like that into the program that can mess with your files?
