Is there a special folder to put the mod files in like dds w3d and so on can someone list what goes where if not don't be mean or anything just tell me Huh

If you mean to say where to put skins (dds) and model replacement (w3d etc) then put into your data folder in your renegade folder.

ueh, well, could question be more specific?
if you want to replace models and skins of the original game, do what SSnipe said

Moding can be real Fun...
