Its all well and good recommending a 64-Bit OS however people will go out and buy hardware that doesn't support 64bit or has yet to have a decent drivers for it and end up reinstalling the 32-bit version. As I previously said, unless you're absolutely sure that you can get 100% working drivers for ALL your hardware I would wait a year or so.
