Hey, they gave a $100 store credit to pre-cut iPhone owners.
And apparently, Apple has its eyes set on the 700MHz spectrum. If they do bid (and win), I can't imagine how badass the iPhone will be (it would eliminate the need for AT&T or any service provider, basically).
FUCK

I personally won't be interested in an iPhone until they add these currently missing features;
* 3G network support
* WiFi Support
* GPS (would turn google maps into a fun app)
* SMS Support (FFS who ever heard of a cellphone that can't do SMS?)
* Instant Message Client (yeah you can use a web-based one, but FFS even free cellphones have aim/msn/yahoo support builtin).
* Able to use something other than Itunes to load mp3s (generic usb storage driver?)
* Able to play divx/xvid video (fuck buying videos on iTunes, I already have an assload of video and don't want to spend hours downconverting it to h264)

iPhone does, in fact, have SMS. I don't know where you got your information but it uses an iChat-like interface to send and receive text messages and saves them as a whole conversation so that you can remember what the heck they were responding to. It also uses the qwerty touchpad and predictive text.
I'm the bawss.

There are some downsides to the iphone but also some good sides
Just looking at it you can see it's a BIG phone, but then again, thats good because it has a BIG screen for movies/music.
But then again it's a phone, but then again because of it's size of screen, it is also good for playing media.
It doesnt have many buttons on it physically, but when texting it is 100x easier than normal cellphones where you hit the same key 3-4 times to get the letter you want.
So in 2 ways, the iphone is both good and bad, more good than bad, so i would reccomend this, but i myself would rather buy a LG phone, but then again if verizon wireless would use the iphone (they cant cause of GSM) i would consider the iphone, my family uses verizon and i support them because of their signal quality and customer support, at&t on the other hand has been failing and dropped the "least dropped calls" campaign, but still, at&t is still a good company, each company offers different plans that suit different taste, I guess mine is just with verizon, but I hate it that verizon only does samsing, motorola, and lg and thats about it, while others use several brands of phones.
