	| Renegade seems to adapt its own set of configuration settings, and because of that I am stuck at 640x400 resolution and windowed mode. The config screen popped up when I ran Renegade a moment ago, I welcomed the opportunity to change my view to windowed mode because I had turned V-Sync off in the BHS.dll settings. Now, however, the config screen won't pop up again, and the accessible one from the start menu doesn't seem to affect the game at all. How can I change the config settings through RenGuard again?\
 Thanks

	| Registry editor!!!
 Start > regedit (or however you get into the registry in Vista)

 HKLM > Software > Westwood > Renegade > Render

 Change;

 RenderDeviceWindowed to 0
 RenderDeviceWidth to 1024 (This and the next one is the screen resolution, so if you want 800 X 600, use that instead)
 RenderDeviceDepth to 768

 That will fix most of your problems. You should be able to work out the rest, should you wish to change them.

 I've attached my copy of this registry branch for you, it will change it to using;

 1024 X 768 32 bit colour, 16 bit textures, non-windowed. A side effect will be that Renegade will think you're using a Radeon X1650, which you probably aren't.

	| Yeah, just go download what I put up there, hopefully that will let you use the normal config again (I'm going to guess that the registry somehow got damaged - checked for malware?)
 I am not going to spend hours adjusting it to everyone's problems. heh,
