	| It's a gay, knee jerk reaction by senators who probably have never served a day of service in the U.S. military.
They have no idea how hard it is on our people serving when they go ashore and get made fun of, and are attacked over gay crap like this.

	| it actually started in a small diner, a few idiot senators got word of it and made national news by having the cafeteria in the capitol change the names also. sometimes these people just don't realize how stupid they really sound.

	| The whole name-changing is utterly horrible. France didn't want to go to war with Iraq for its own reasons, but because their ideas conflicted with ours, America's leaders aimed to erase any good images of the French from our minds. Warm, sunny days in the annual carnival no longer have the word "French" associated with them (you don't go to the food stand for French fries anymore). It's all in an effort to change our opinions, or at least supress some good ones, about France through the elimination of possible influences. Additional propaganda can furtherly turn our friendly thoughts away from France, and America can then do what they want to the French, with us as its uncomplaining tools. Don't let your own thoughts mean nothing - don't give in to this. |

	| The French indeed aren't quite well looked upon, nor do they deserve to be. However, to change the name of American products just because of it gives off a look of idiocy. As stated before, this act parallels to such ones in the World Wars. Instead of silently covering wooden signs with new, plastic ones, there should be a sense of openness between us and our leaders. Why is it being done? To make America look good?
