ive decided now that i'll just reformat the hard-drive and have it dual boot in linux and windos, so i dont have to worry too much on linux about getting viruses, but will play ren and that on windows

i was thinking of having one on one of my hard-drives and one on the other...
but the way you described is alot simpler than i thought it was

i know a bit about suse due to using it previously, but times i have used it i have had to switch to windows for gaming, but with dual boot, all id have to do is reboot the pc

Not entirely sure but i think Parallels runs under Linux.
It emulates the windows operating system, using a virtual machine. Quite a resource hog but what would you expect running two operating systems at once.
The latest version supports 3D applications and games, however source doesn't run well according to posts.
