When the flood protection is triggered, you can go back to last page but all text you entered is gone. That's highly annoying, most forums keep the text there. Can this be solved?

It's your browser. But, you shouldn't use back. You should just wait for flood timeout and press refresh, then re-submit the POST data.

It happens both on my Iexplorer at work (version 6 FTW!) and firefox 2 at home. And as said, it works on other websites.
But i'll just take zunnie's advice (which I already did for big posts). I'll copy-paste every post I write ;o.

Hint: In firefox press refresh instead of back and when it asks you to resubmit POST data hit yes it will submit your post again
