 A server owner pays for the server therefore has the right to make any rule. I feel they are then duly entitled to enforce any rule that they impose. If it's a no swearing rule then so be it.
 
 If players do not like the server rules then they are free to move to a server that suits them. But to return to the forum is demonstrating a little immaturity
 
 2 cuss words would have got you a warning from IRC @ UN and not a ban. Tell the truth and folk will not laugh. However the mistake was to go back and cuss the forum.
 
 How does that make you feel? Why did you wish to return and cuss them? What were you hoping to achieve by your actions? How often do you do this on other servers when you do not agree with a single rule?
 
 ps. Do not take offence as I am also banned from the UN forum. Why? For always giving an alternative thought to any discussion even if I did not personally agree with the thought.

	| As much as I am against corruption of youth, I don't think a few swears will do that.  I was 7 when I started swearing, by 10 I was swearing profusely.  (I have since gotten it under control.)  Movies and TV got me saying swears, and by the time I was on the internet regularly (round 12 or 13), it was no big deal.  Swearing today is so common place that swears are barely bad words anymore, rather strong expressions of emotion or feeling towards something. 
 I think if you REALLY wanted to corrupt the youth, show em porn.  THAT will corrupt them.

Blazer has a very good point. It is ok to be shot in the face with a shot gun but not ok to say FUCK after it? That makes it even more lame.

	| First off, I was banned, so I asked on there forums with something along the lines of "Why the fuck was I banned for saying 2 fucking swear words" I like my cuss words. They even banned corpgus for having the setjoin !set my stallion free (stallion = another player) they also banned stallion I think it was for having the setjoin f0rking forkers or something like that. 
 P.S when I first went there I didnt know about the rule, so they warned me. Right after I get warned I was kicked. So I came back in to say why the fuck was I kicked after you already warned me. And asked how it was a warning so I got banned.

	| Just so we're clear, server owners are free to set whatever rules they like. The discussion here is whether or not they should have that rule. But only they can change their minds. No one can force them to allow people to swear. I will defend to the death a server owner's right to have whatever rules he likes. I just don't have to agree with them. I don't play on servers whose rules I do not like.

 There are words that I will not allow, fag and * mean mean black person * being the 2 main ones because that is not swearing, they are direct insults
