I disagree. I've been following C&C since the very beginning, basically the demo of C&C 95... so I've played C&C since I was 6. I don't think C&C 3 ruined the series at all. Yeah they forgot a few TS features, but other than that this looks like a good sequal to the Tiberian series.

C&C3 is shaping up to be average- but far, far shy of the level of excellence reached in the old WW titles. It's good enough to convince me to buy it, which is more than Generals ever managed, but it could have been and still could be a hell of a lot better than it is.

I disagree with this thing, too. It sounds like this guy is one of the legions who will speak against the game just to get attention. How we can take him seriously when the bulk of his argument keeps coming around to "they fucked everything up"... "this looks like shit"... his arguments hold almost no bulk at all. Someone yank this guy off the stage.
The props are bought at BEST BUY!? What the fuck! Sorry, dipshit, but I met the guy who made the props (along with the other Community Summit members) and he is EXTREMELY professional and devoted to his work. Furthermore, he's made props and sets for dozens of sci-fi movies for several years.
Fuck you, whoever this is. He doesn't have a CLUE what he's talking about. Then he calls us ignorant if we don't agree with him. Good tactic, buddy!

I don't know who EA Shortbus is, but he's sure living up to his name. Please come back when you can put some substance to your arguments, eh buddy?

Well, EA had a few community leaders come visit them... it was so secretive that I only know who 3 of the attendees were. They were consulted on the storyline and how it fit.

I hate people who criticize EA just because they cannot make a Command & Conquer game exactly like the originals. Wake up! EA is not Westwood, sorry to break the news, and the old Westwood employee's do not work for EA. We will never get another Command & Conquer game just like the originals because EA's developers have their own unique thought processes just as Westwood's developers did. C&C 3 is perfectly worthy of a Command & Conquer title in my mind, and so what if it is a bit different from the original C&C style. If you have fun playing it, it is a good game to you, if not, don't buy it, and go play another game.

His main point is that they don't use Tiberian Sun assets. Although I understand his direction, how many C&C 95 assets did they use in Tiberian Sun? Not many at all. And TS was a Westwood-made game. Of course C&C3 will be different than TS, Westwood did the same thing!

C&C 3 does look pretty cool so far. Deffinatly better that Generals. Tiberium Sun is really the only one i haven't liked that much :/ . But i guess it just never had the hook that RA2/Yuri did.

That isn't the Shortbus from Clanwars, doesn't sound like him.
tbh CnC3 has a lot less wrong with it than every other single CnC game does, including Renegade and DEFINITELY including Tiberian Sun (and don't even get me started on RA2). I mean that in all seriousness.
By the way, the whole "EA killed CnC" phrase is completely ridiculous anyway... even if CnC3 was absolutely terrible, which it isn't by a long shot, CnC is in no worse condition by its existence...

Well not everything is fucked up, I do enjoy playing it, but I hate the fucking gay movement in it.
In the old CnC games, you could line up the tanks and troops in neat lines and shit, in generals and cnc3, you cant do that, you pick a spot and the unit moves towards it but not on the fucking spot.
That really does annoy me.
Yeah, them dumping all the TibSun units outta the game, really sucks too, fuck EA.
Other then that, alright.
