Hi all,
I have installed the game, but get stuck trying the multiplayer. How can I fill in my account, the only button availble is the new account one. When pressed I get page failed. I already have an account.
The login button is greyed out, so I cannot press that one.

Type in a name and a password where you would if you already had an account, and if the name isn't already taken it's yours.

Dang, the no cd patch replaces the game.exe of renguard. I dont understand it as soon as renguard is installed , I get the message that I need to put the renegade data disk in the drive.

This no cd patch detects if you have renguard installed or not. You can also download core patch 2 (enable download core patch updates in the renguard options): it comes with a no cd patch.

Even with this no cd patch, I get the "'put the data disk" pop up.
Renguard automaticly updated itself during the first time I started it up. So I am still stuck Dont Get It

the "put the data disk in the drive" popup is caused because renegade cant find the EA_WW.BIK and R_Intro.BIK startup movie files.
You can either press "cancel" (or "esc") and make the box go away (which you then need to do every time you start renegade) or you can get these movie files and put them in your renegade\data\movies folder.

Or edit the regisry value to skip all intro movies.

SilentKane's Renegade Extended Configuration Utility allows you to also skip the quit confirm dialog, eroding the annoying RG caused quit from main menu freeze bug.
(I mention this because the utility also allows you to skip intro movies)

Renguard is a wonderful initiative
