When I was playing on a server (20vs20) I saw a 1vs1 fight in the middle of the map (C&C_Complex) I was Nod and I saw that the GDI player was a Hotwire and shot the other Nod player with a handgun. Then I almost got shot, but got away to the Nod base. The cheater got in the Nod base and killed more with the handgun, many more players said cheater. The server bot was down so RG didn't help, then there come a mod over the IRC, and said "you need prove" I said "the cheater shot my stank in 5 shots" then the mod said "you need a screenshot" ... Did that mean that I fist need to take a screenshot, post it to there website and wait a day, so to cheater get banned, but in the meanwhile we just need to accept the cheater?
Moding can be real Fun...

ehm...
making 5 kills in a few secs with a hotwire isn't normal
and my stank health was like 400, 350, 300, 250, 200, 150, 100
and the bot was pretty odd, if you typed a command it took some minuts for respons

Tbh, if you're good with a pistol, its pretty easy to get those kind of kills at the beginning of the game in a public server.. Was he killing people in 1 kill or what? And a lot of times moderators don't just listen to people who complain that someone is cheating without proof because they probably don't know how to spot a cheater.

If someone was using a cheat, why would it take them 5 shots to destroy a vehicle? Its more likely that you had timed c4 on your stank, and someone was shooting you with a pistol to reveal your position, as I always do when stanks and sbh are about.

People aren't retarded. I'm not suprised if there are mods that make pistols do large damage, but not insta-kills.

And that would make perfectly good sense, because it would make them less suspicious about cheating.
