tun·nel P Pronunciation Key (tnl)
n.
An underground or underwater passage.
A passage through or under a barrier.
Obsolete. The main flue on a chimney.

Not everything is a freaking tunnel. It's a hallway. Do you tell your mother that you're taking the tunnel to your bedroom? Sarcasm

At any rate, thanks for the compliments... And stop calling every hallway\corridor\mineshaft\entrance\passageway\gateway a tunnel.

Is a wall not a barrier?

Anyways, it looks good, but its not the type of art I like.

Exactly...and who knows where that passage leads? Art is always interpreted in many ways by many viewers. ACK is just being a nazi about it.

Haha...good comeback! Too bad the comparison doesn't change my arguement in the slightest; you're just bitter about being proven wrong. Find your own comparison then, if you really have never heard of grammar nazis or soup nazis...even people like you that don't go outside usually come across at least one of the two once in their life. Listen

NIT-PICKING:
Instead of dealing with a comment or question directly, the idea here is to focus on some insignificant detail to evade the issue or buy time to think.

"We need to define just exactly what you mean by _________."

"Your last sentence ended with a preposition. Please restate it properly."

"Your caps lock is stuck, your post is meaningless now."

NAME IT:
To the feebleminded, if there is a NAME used as a label for IT, then it must be wrong, even if it isn't. The NAME, now a "proof" of sorts, can be used as a sledgehammer if IT comes up again.

"The case you just made was first made by Edgar Sullivan in the late 1800s and was quickly disproved. The 'Sullivan Error' inevitably occurs to people when they first start studying the subject."

"Your line of reasoning is called the MacGregor Phenomenon."

"Why, that's Calvinism!"

Bla bla pseudo-intellectual quote-o-rama...how about you go and disprove that the picture doesn't show where the passage leads thus every interpretation is valid, or you could just shut up.

lol

You're still avoiding the point, lol... None of that is pseudo-intellectualism, it's common forms of arguing that are simply designed to evade a point when you feel you can't argue one.

I'm just going to assume that you didn't read the definition of "tunnel" that I showed everyone.

tun·nel P Pronunciation Key (tnl)
n.
An underground or underwater passage.
A passage through or under a barrier.
Obsolete. The main flue on a chimney.

That hallway is not traveling under a barrier, and simply assuming that it *was* traveling under one lead to improper usage of the word. The wall isn't a barrier, since the hallway wasn't built *in to* the wall; the wall was shaped around the hallway.

Maybe it leads into a mountain, or underneath a big building or whatever...you can't say that's impossible by just looking at the picture.

The point is that you have to assume in either way. You see it as a hallway, someone else may see it as a tunnel. They're both assumptions and both valid.

The only thing you can definitly call it is a passage.

lol

So you proved you know how to use a dictionary, congrats! I am real impressed now. Since you with your big intellect proved too stupid to understand my post... Imagine those little hands holding something. Get it now?

ROFL

That isn't a dictionary quote.

http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=nitpicking

This is a dictionary quote:

nit·pick P Pronunciation Key (ntpk)
intr.v. nit·picked, nit·pick·ing, nit·picks
To be concerned with or find fault with insignificant details. See Synonyms at quibble.

Do you read what you write before you reply, or even think about what you're saying lol?
