For linux servers with Core Patch 1 already installed (i.e. brenbot, proper LFDS binary etc), download and run this
http://download.renguard.com/cp2/sscp2.run (its a shell script with a TGZ file on the end)
For linux server without Core Patch 1, download and run this
http://download.renguard.com/cp2/sscp2all.run
For windows servers with Core Patch 1 already installed, download and run this
http://download.renguard.com/cp2/sscp2w.exe
For windows servers without Core Patch 1, download and run this
http://download.renguard.com/cp2/sscp2allw.exe
The linux installer uses makeself to make the installer and the windows installer uses Nullsoft Installer (since its my first time with Nullsoft, hopefully I got everything right)
It would be good to see some servers run Core Patch 2 (especially the new maps)
I was unable to figure out how to get the windows installer to add the new maps to svrcfg_cnc.ini so if you want this, you will have to do it manually 
Clients should recieve it downloaded automatically through RenGuard.
A stand-alone non RenGuard installer will be provided as soon as we can.
People with Core Patch 2 Release Candidate 1 can get the new readme file here:

Also, clients with Core Patch 2 Release Candidate 1 should download and use
http://download.renguard.com/cp2/mixfiles/game2.zip
if they havent already done so.
Please report any issues with Core Patch 2 on these forums so everything can be kept in the one place. If it is something that needs to be kept private (e.g. an exploit), private message me with the information.

Just some notes on the install process.
When you start RenGuard, it should say something about doing a Core Patch precheck.
Then, it should check your maps and stuff.
If any of them dont match what Core Patch 2 is looking for, it will give you an error and display a list of links in the web window.
Download and unzip these files (into the renegade data folder).
Should any of them give you a 404 error (or any other error), PLEASE let us know which one right away (posting here is good)
Then re-start renguard.
Once all the files are correct, it will start downloading Core Patch 2.
For people with Core Patch 1, it should download cp2.zip
For people without Core Patch 1, it should download patchall.zip
If it doesnt download the right file (e.g. patchall.zip for people with CP1 installed), it indicates a problem somewhere (if this happens to you, post here (with your AIM/MSN/ICQ/Yahoo if you have it) and I will help you out (or just talk to me on AIM/MSN/ICQ/Yahoo)
Also let me know if the Core Patch 2 downloader starts up and downloads but then gives an error about "old file not found" or similar (look for a label on the download form that tells you the file that its looking for, I need that information too)

A request: could you add a 'none' button in keyconfig so I can disable all taunts for exemple? Or can it be done with the 'add key' thingy?

i still get a weird load up screen, with the original load picture, but still the core patch 1 writing remains. You said i should reinstall core patch 2, but how do i do that without a stand alone version?

I don't know if this is due to the new core patch, but after i installed it, Renegade freezes when i click on Multiplayer LAN at the main menu.....but i can still got to online so all is not lost  .
EDIT: Nope, I was wrong, freezes when i try to go to Advanced Game Listings.......  ....and i'm kind of wanting to play renegade......

The loadscreen having no text is by design.
With the much faster map loading, you dont see the loadscreen long enough to notice the text.

The new game2.exe file is from The First Decade and it is a no-cd.
