	| I'd participate in this BETA run, but I sort of have a bootlegged copy of Windows XP.(Meanwhile, Service Pack 2 came from a legitimate CD. Go figure!) I'm pretty sure Microsoft would hold that against me.
In any case, the only things I have ever seen wrong with Internet Explorer are the fact it doesn't seem to properly support XML(?) StyleSheets and can't properly transparent PNG image files. Anything else...and I put emphasis on this for all you Firefox kiddies out there...does not bother me or I have not run across. Hell, even deviantART works fine in Internet Explorer under Windows XP.(Meanwhile, under Windows 98, it would freeze the browser 100% of the time.)

	| I would just like to say that Firefox is a complete piece of garbage; it slows down my fucking computer randomly when I'm browsing, regularly deletes my bookmarks, and locks up after I finish downloading something.
No, my computer is not infected with a virus or spyware.

 Fuck you, Mozilla.

What do you expect? Take Fanboy Group A vs Fanboy Group B

Neither will admit the opposition is correct, because they already know deep down that they are right, so the only possible outcome is for the other group to back down and admit defeat.

Looks like an infinate loop to me.

	| I use firefox, I have never had a problem with it at all.
Yes it will have exploits written for it, but what doesn't.

AT LEAST ACTIVEX IS DISABLED BY DEFAULT, Where Microsoft has only started doing that since SP2.

The best thing about firefox is that it is multiplatform.

Becuase IE only goes to version 5.2.3 on Macintosh OSX.

It's not the worst idea ever, it boosts community support amongst programmers and developers, allowing for hundreds of plug-ins to be created. It also generates media interest and expands the product's lifecycle.

Then again, any exploits found can be fixed within minutes, and you don't need to rely on the maintainers of the closed-source project to fix it.

Any idea if the cellphone versions would also work with the various versions of Windows for handheld computers? I've been looking for something to replace IE on my Axim, but wasn't sure from the description that Opera Mobile would work...

	| Everyone is talking about Firefox, Opera, and IE, but no one said how is Netscape safe. I really would like to know. On my old computer I used IE until it stopped working, so I tried Netscape, and other than large memory usage, it works O.K. Then I tried Firefox, and it worked good (most of the time), except when I tried to download something from the web, it would search the floppy drive first
, so I inserted a floppy disk, and after I did this several times, it no longer searched for floppy. I had one more problem. Firefox sometimes would not detect my Internet connection, so I had to run Netscape in order to browse the Internet, so I stopped using Firefox.

 So, how safe is Netscape?
