Ok I recently purchased a second hard drive, I decided to put renegade on it. I un installed renegade and when I was installing it the installer crashed. After fiddling with it for an hour i determined that it was the disk that was the problem. (I can see light through the disk and when looking for certain files on-disk windows explorer crashes.) The problem is, i just spent all my money on the hard drive so i cant buy renegade for even the price of 5$.
Any suggestions?

Lol i just read your message. Then i looked at the message your signature. LOL  .....
anyway, things you should try:
1) Try it on another computer.
2) I remember one of my friends have trouble with his Yuri's Revenge cd, he changed the compatibility of it, and it worked.
cant think of anymore at the moment, if i do i will respond again.

Cant really try it on another computer, we only have two that are good enough/have enough room to play/install renegade. The other one has it on and i dont want to mess it up.

I copied some stuff from the other computer so, now renegade works. But..... whenever i want to log into WOL/XWIS it sais my serial number has been marked invalid.
I remember seeing a file somewere and you could manually enter in your serial number. Anyone know what one it is?
