He resigned after admitting guilty to bribery before he was even investigated by the House Ethics Committee.

It feels good to know that we have House Congressmen willing to sell themselves to companies in exchange for defense contracts.

		| The article that I suppose you couldn't be bothered to read | Cunningham had already said he would not seek re-election in 2006. He will be sentenced on February 27 when he faces up to 10 years in prison.

Republicans give lots of money to their corporate buddies, Democrats give lots of money to the poor. Not much difference... neither group works all that hard for it.

		| Aircraftkiller wrote on Tue, 29 November 2005 09:10 | So what's your point here... All Republicans are corrupt? I'm sure you know where that line of logic leads, and it's not to sensible thinking.

Go put your tin foil hat on and shut the fuck up already. 14 year old kids that have their head up their ass should be spending their time studying instead of worrying about a political process they obviously know nothing about.

I'm not "suggesting" anything other than this man is quite awful for selling defense contracts.

Crimson: Do the poor bribe Democrats?

Yeah, that's what I was going to say. They bribe with votes. It's very easy... give people money so they will vote for you so you can give them more money so they continue to vote for you.

Bribes don't have to be in the traditional form either,

Tax cuts, "prosperity cheques", Rebates, etc. All work towards creating the illusion that the government is a good one, so why not keep them in power?
