Why is Wiki in bold eye candy type, and you cant dig up a clue about the WOL change with a dozer? I come here on a regular basis and I had no idea that this change was taking place until I visited http://black-cell.net/. Seems to me, with as many people who play WOL that this http://xwis.net/ would be everywhere, including the rengaurd splash screen. Hell, I almost downloaded ad-ware so I could play Renegade. Have you people heard of AADD? Please be aware that there are people in this community that have a short attention span, and only follow shinny objects, and so on. Terrell Owens is a jackass, but I love to see Philly having hell. Well, I hope this helps someone. BTW here is the link to the tool.

I clicked the wiki link, and closed it like a coffin. What is this XWIS you speek of? Never heard of it till this morning. Just seems to me that a link to this tool would be the one with neon lights around it. Also, the splash screen on rengaurd was showing me the top 5 servers with hardly anyone in them. I understand that it's my problem for not reading more and it's only a gmae. I just was thinking, Im not the only one in the dark on this, but I'm going to be ok.

well as long as i can still play online, i really dont care what the server is... but the thing is that XWIS, there is only aboit 30 people playign 1 game, its hard to find a game to play in.

That's mainly because the actual take over hasn't happened yet. Once XWIS takes over for good, you won't need a connection tool. Some people wouldn't know except for the changed Message of the Day that pops up when you first connect.
Once all the bugs are ironed out, I'm sure it'd be close to how it used to be, or maybe better?
(PS, I currently use the XWIS connection tool to play online, and so far I have had NO problems what so ever joining any servers, and I'm behind a NAT.)
