No text in Renegade [message #173223]

Recruit

I started renegade, after i installed the renalert mod (it didnt works) Then i wanted to play renegade and there is no text in the main menu! I deleted the renalert mod. I reinstalled renegade 2 times and theres no text in the install menu, too. What can i do? I cant choose anything in the main menu.

did you install renalert to the renegade folder? because your NOT supposed to Sarcasm

If you did, reinstall ren and it should fix the problem

I reinstalled it 3 times now and it didnt work. What can i do?? Here are some Screenshots:

Not everything is as it appears

Make sure after you uninstall you go in and manually delete ALL the Renegade and Renalert folders/files. Then reinstall from scratch and make sure that when you install Renalert you do it correctly as per the instructions.

I have found a Renalert update and i unistalled it. I installed renegade and its the same like before. I killed ALL renegade and renalert folders/files. Sad

Start--->Search---->Strings.tdb

delete any files you find

if that dousnt work, have you by any chance rebooted yet? Tell Me

It doesnt work. I only found a strings.tdb in a mappack. What should i do now??

I'm somewhat confused by your posts, but let's make sure:

Have you completely uninstalled and then reinstalled?

Like, run the C&C Renegade Uninstaller, then make sure that C:\Westwood\Renegade was removed from your hard drive, then run regedit and remove the registry key (and all sub-keys) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE_\SOFTWARE\Westwood\Renegade.

Then once you've done that, reinstall. Let us know when you've verified you've done exactly that.
