The wars back then are totally different from this war, this war is very pointless. So lets not get off topic, ok

You're right, this war is totally different. Instead of fighting for our freedom, we're fighting for others'. You not only suck as an American, you suck as a human being, and this isn't just some random insult that I feel like slinging at you, this is how I truly feel about your ignorant self. You suck.

 whoa.

	| kinghigh you have got to be the most arrogant, self-obssessed moronic, ignorant, abnoxious cunt I have ever had the displeasure of reading posts from.
Your sheer idiocy and lack of respect for people giving their lives for the freedom of their country which sadly has the odd few morons like yourself amazes me. As I said before:

The army would just have to come find me,I'm the a.w.o.l type of person.thats to much you risking your life for,and getting nothing in return.

I can understand wanting to be absent without official leave during a battle, as some people can't hack it. I could even understand being AWOL when it comes time for your tour.

However, wanting to be AWOL when all they are doing is holding funerals for friends who have died, that is just wrong. "Hey look at me! I'm going to break the law, just to miss a friends funeral!"

I was quoting RIPIN when he wrote"Every day there are patriot details for those that wish to attend for our fallen comrades".

I meant AWOL as I would not be going over there(iraq).I never meant for what I said to be taking in a disrespectful way.I'm not that heartless to cut out on a friend.or a funeral.

You fucking idiot, why would you even bring up the fact that your extreamly un-american, un-patriotic, hate freedom and that you are a coward who supports the murder of innocence and then to fight to stop it. It was not needed, its a thread to see whats up with Rip, an up standing , kind and brave member of this community, not for you to come make an ass of yourself like every other thread you post in. Don't even respond to this, just don't

	| I'm not an american. I don't support the war.
 I support the soldiers.

They don't have a choice to be over there fighting, and if people back home don't support them then it just makes matters worse. I don't think some people realize that...

	| Heh heh, jingoists are pretty funny.
Well, I hope Ripintou comes back safe, and leaves PTSD in the country.

 EDIT:

My favorite, "the fact that your extreamly un-american, un-patriotic, hate freedom and that you are a coward who supports the murder of innocence"

"To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public." -- Theodore Roosevelt (1918)

"The danger to political dissent is acute where the Government attempts to act under so vague a concept as the power to protect "domestic security." Given the difficulty of defining the domestic security interest, the danger of abuse in acting to protect that interest becomes apparent. --U.S. Supreme Court decision (407 U.S. 297 (1972)

	| I don't know Ripintou, I never engaged him in conversation, but I wish him god speed and safety out there, god knows he'll need it, and I wish him a safe and soon return. I've seen how little support the English troops get on this side and it really sickens me that people can be like that. At least America are patriotic enough to back their soldiers up, even if they don't agree with the war, that at least keeps moral up for them.
Imagine being out there, knowing you may not survive, only to realise your fellow country men despise you because you fight that war, how would that make you feel Kinghigh, think before you post stupid crap like you have done.

	| Volkov, your signature is waaaaay too big. At first I thought that was just spam in another thread.

	| Can we please just leave some nice comments for Ripintou to read when he returns. I think the theme of "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all" would be good for this thread.
If you want to diss the war or flame each other, please do it in another thread. Ripintou was nice enough, and part of our community enough that he is thinking about us all while he is over there, and took the time to send a message to let us know how he is doing. Please don't pollute the thread with flamewars, namecalling, and political posturing.

Ripintou, thanks for sending us word of how you are doing, stay safe, and we look forward to your return to the the US.
