No, they are the best design I have ever seen by far, I hope they don't change them, they're really great for my hands.

 No. Seriously. No.

	| small as a gaming community, big enough as a forum. :tellme:
sure, there are pictures of them. the companies always release pictures and news and the media gets them fast. there's even news about the XBOX on a PS3 site.. Try these searches on google: XBOX360, PS3.

	| PS3 > XBox 360
If full backwards compatibility were all the PS3 had going for it, that ALONE would be reason enough. That means that it will play every single PS and PS2 game ever made, which in turn means that people who buy it won't need all the systems to play all their games. The X360 might play SOME of the old XBox games, meaning that anyone who wants to keep playing their library of XBox games is going to have to hang on to that old piece of crap that calls itself a console. PS users, on the other hand, can sell off their older systems and use the cash from the sale to reduce the price of their new console.

Plus, PS3 is releasing next year- that means Sony has more time to work out any kinks and bugs the thing might have. Remember kiddies, more QA testing = good. It is likely to be a higher quality product as a result.

Remember, kids: illiteracy is cool. If you took the time to read this, you are clearly a loser who will never get laid. You've been warned.

	| | Mindtzar | | And tooncy I dont suppose the PS3 or Xbox controlers are clunky. eh?

 |

The Xbox 2 controller looks pretty sleek, kinda like the Dreamcast controller. The original Xbox controller was a monster. That thing was WAYYYY too big, but the S controller is near perfect. The PS3 controller looks shitty, but that's what 3rd party devices are for.

	| | Dan wrote on Thu, 26 May 2005 06:07 | | I'm not such a big fan of consoles myself, but thats because I dont like controllers since I'm a fan of Shoot em up games, so I find controllers hard to shoot with when I'm trying to shoot someone and I'm aiming all around the ceiling and floor etc... I love my mouse ^_^

Same for me. When I played XIII and Halo, I found it difficult to aim properly.

I wonder how are they going to fix that. Maybe they Should make it so that you can switch functions of the buttons, so the X O /\ [] buttons could be used for movement, and the arrow butons would do the actions. That way, you could hold the controller in your left hand, mouse in right hand, and be able to play almost like on computer.
THIS would improve experience of FPS games on PS3/XboX a LOT.
I know it sounds crazy, and that it will probably never be implemented, but if it would, it would be so

P.S.: You would not have less buttons(maybe only one, the right analog stick button(R3)), because on a regular controller, everithing you do with left hand could/can be done with a mouse.

 Hasta la vista, baby!

	| If I'm not mistaken you can get a keyboard and mouse for PS2 so obviously there will be a keyboard and mouse for PS3.
I think the USB slots on the PS2 is for keyboard/mouse but I'm not sure as I've never tried it.
