	| Well basically which do you think wil lcome out on top?

Although the 360 looks like a great system I reckon the PS3 will pull through most.

Each system has it's own ups and downs, 360 beats PS3 in some places and vice versa, the PS3 beats 360 in other places.

In my opinion the Playstation 3 is overall better than the 360 and will pull through more.

 Just a little addition...

The PS3's system memory is XDR RAM @ 3.2GHZ (runs at the same speed as the processor), and it's video memory is GDDR3 RAM @ 700MHZ, while the Xbox 360's memory is only GDDR3 RAM @ 700MHZ.

The PS3 will support/use Blu-Ray BD-ROMs, each with a capacity of about 50GB (double layered), as far as I've seen, the PS3 is the only one out of the two that will support a next generation media/disk.

	| I would say the PS3. This is because of the little things that the 360 skimp on, like the limited backward compatibility, the HDD (that shouldn't be an option), etc., and the face plates sound like a lame gimmick.
And 7 controller "ports" for the PS3? SCHWING! No more buying multi-taps.

	| PS3 all the way for me.
Although, I must admit that it's rather hilarious that Microsoft is putting a PowerPC chips in their gaming console. So much for any thought of backwards compatibility regarding previous XBOX games, eh?

	| I'm not such a big fan of consoles myself, but thats because I dont like controllers since I'm a fan of Shoot em up games, so I find controllers hard to shoot with when I'm trying to shoot someone and I'm aiming all around the ceiling and floor etc... I love my mouse ^_^ |

	| it's so easy to aim and shoot with a mouse as compared to a console controller, though. I don't think there's any achievement in being good at that, unless you are a 40 year old housewife who just got into games with no prior experience.
The playstation series is more popular than the Xbox and has been since the original playstation (when Xbox didn't even exist) and the PS3 seems to boast more than the Xbox 360 here, apart from their system and video memory. I'm sure the console will make up for that though.

	| | Blazer | | PC versions of games 0wn console versions.

I'm not a fan on consoles, personally... but I must agree with ACK here. Take a look at Halo: Combat Evolved, for the PC. It sucks ass. I mean, whomever thought that you should keep the vehicle driving in the same direction that the camera is facing should be shot on sight. It's horrible.| Aircraftkiller | | Not always.

	| No. I plan to play five players by myself using my left hand, right hand, left foot, right foot, and chin.| Silent Kane | | First off, the new xbox has 3 CPUs as far as I know. And who the fuck needs 7 controllers? Do you plan to play with 7 people splitscreen? lol.

 |

And so what if the new XBOX has 3 CPUs? That doesn't mean it's going to be faster unless EVERY game makes use of multiprocessor technology. And let's face facts; even computer games are having trouble truly making use of multiprocessor technology, and computers have had multiple processors for a while now.
